Carwa is a facilitating platform, not a dealership. We connect buyers and sellers and inspect vehicles to help you make informed decisions.
Our Commitment
We do not issue refunds based on mechanical faults, dissatisfaction, or user error — but if there is a factual error or misleading information in our inspection report, we take full responsibility.
When Are You Eligible for a Refund?
You are eligible for a full refund if:
- You bought the car through Carwa's official platform.
 - The car was inspected and listed by Carwa.
 - There is a clear factual discrepancy between the Carwa Inspection Report and the actual condition of the vehicle.
 - The issue is a misrepresentation in the inspection report, not a hidden or new mechanical fault.
 - The discrepancy is reported within 3 calendar days of receiving the vehicle.
 
Examples of Eligible Discrepancies:
- Mileage listed as 100,000 km in report but actual is 150,000 km.
 - Car reported as automatic when it's manual.
 - Features like sunroof, parking sensors, or leather seats are listed but do not exist.
 
What Will Be Refunded?
If your claim is approved, Carwa will issue a full refund, including:
- The entire purchase price of the vehicle.
 - The platform fee paid by the buyer.
 - Delivery and other transaction-related expenses, provided you submit valid documentation (e.g., invoices, receipts).
 
Conditions for Refund Approval
To qualify:
- The vehicle must be driven less than 100 kilometers after delivery.
 - The vehicle must be returned in the same condition it was delivered.
 - The discrepancy must be fact-based and supported with clear evidence.
 - Any additional expenses must be documented.
 - The refund request must be submitted within 3 calendar days of delivery.
 
What Is Not Covered
Refunds will not be issued in the following cases:
- Mechanical or cosmetic issues that were accurately reported in the inspection.
 - Mechanical faults that developed after delivery.
 - Buyer's remorse, dislike of vehicle color, features, or design.
 - Claims made after 3 days or after driving more than 100 km.
 - Vehicle not returned in its original delivered condition.
 
How to Request a Refund
Step 1: Contact Us
Contact us at [email protected] or via your Carwa dashboard within 3 days of receiving the car.
Step 2: Submit Evidence
Submit clear photo/video evidence or a third-party mechanic's report showing the discrepancy.
Step 3: Provide Documentation
Provide receipts for any delivery or transaction-related costs you'd like refunded.
Step 4: Review & Processing
Carwa will review and validate your claim. If approved, your full refund will be processed within 7–10 business days.
Return Logistics:
- The vehicle must be returned to a designated Carwa hub.
 - If Carwa is at fault, we will cover return logistics.
 - If not, return costs are the buyer's responsibility.
